I now have in hand a notebook of Emma's letters (with summaries) covering the years of 1913, 1914, 1915. The letters in this notebook are copies of the originals.

Emma would have been about 57
William was 69
Abbie, their youngest child, was 24
Laura was in New Hampshire, her youngest child was born in 1913
Theodore Brooks was in Illinois with his 2nd wife
Ernest Humphrey, their oldest child, was living in Chicago and traveled to Italy at the end of the year
My currently unverified notes have William's mother, Laura Ann Perkins, still alive, likely still in Braintree. Probably at 405 Commercial St with daughter Abbie Allen Record, husband, and son.
